In-Person and Virtual Pod Teaching during COVID-19

Support from experienced educators, in-person or online.

In addition to our regular 1-on-1 sessions, we are offering small group in-person and virtual sessions in all subject areas to help students maintain connections with classmates or friends while also receiving expert support.

IN-PERSON OFFERINGS

Depending on the timing you request and the trajectory of the pandemic, we will likely have tutors available to meet with students in their homes this coming school year.

If you are interested in arranging in-person tutoring with us, please fill out the form below or email us at info@nycteacherswhotutor.com and let us know:

  1. Your child's grade

  2. The location for in-person sessions

  3. Whether you'd prefer individual or small group sessions

  4. Ideal days/times for sessions

After we receive this information, we will follow up with more details about our rates and potential tutors.

For the protection of our whole community, parents and tutors will be required to sign a waiver in compliance with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocol.

VIRTUAL SESSION OFFERINGS

At this time, all virtual sessions are being offered at a discounted rate.

If you are interested in arranging remote tutoring with us, please fill out the form below or email us at info@nycteacherswhotutor.com and let us know:

  1. Your child's grade

  2. Whether you'd prefer individual or small group sessions

  3. Ideal days/times for sessions

Here’s how our small group sessions work:

  • Reach out to your child’s classmates or school community to connect with other interested parents.

  • Once you have a group of 2-5 students, send us an email and we’ll match you with a tutor.

  • All participants will receive a special discounted group rate for tutoring (email us for specific quotes).

We’re pleased to be able to offer sessions across subjects including:

  • All math subjects (Algebra I & II/Trig, Geometry, Calculus)

  • Creative and expository writing.

  • Coding

  • Foreign language learning (Spanish, French, Mandarin, Latin, Hebrew, and more!)

  • All sciences (Chemistry, Biology, and Physics)

  • History (specializing in all time periods and areas)

  • Standardized test prep

  • Most other academic or extracurricular activities
