Head teacher at the Marymount School of New York where she teaches Pre-Kindergarten literacy, math and science. Prior to teaching at Marymount, she taught Pre-Kindergarten at The Garden House School. Kellie graduated from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame with a BA in Humanistic Studies and received a MST from Fordham University. While at Fordham, Kellie was awarded a scholarship which granted her the opportunity to student teach second and third grade at Cedar Place School in Yonkers, New York. It was here that Kellie developed her love for tutoring as she spent a semester teaching a child to read using an Orton-Gillingham inspired multi-sensory approach. Kellie loves spending her free time doing yoga, visiting museums, and exploring the city with her children. She has two sons in college and two daughters who attend an independent school in Westchester.
