Currently teaches Algebra I, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, Statistics, and College Readiness at Millennium Brooklyn High School in Park Slope. She received her Master’s Degree in Urban Special Education, Grades 7-12, from Long Island University. She also serves as the IEP coordinator and specializes in developing a curriculum that is responsive to various learning disabilities and learning styles and developing the executive functioning skills of her students. Prior to teaching at Millennium Rebecca worked at Brooklyn Institute for Liberal Arts, teaching English, Geometry, Algebra, Economics, History, Literacy, and Public Speaking. Rebecca’s goal as a tutor is to bring joy to learning, build confidence in students and help them develop problem-solving strategies that foster independence, as opposed to rote memorization of steps and facts.
