Middle & High School Math
Is in her 14th year of teaching middle school mathematics at the Berkeley Carroll School, where she is also the Assistant Director of the Middle School. She began her teaching career as a New York City Teaching Fellow at an arts school in the Bronx, where she was the founding high school math teacher. From there, Yabome moved to San Francisco and joined KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy as the eighth grade chairperson and founding Algebra I teacher. She holds a B.A. in economics and sociology from Boston College and an M.S. in mathematics education from City College. Yabome is passionate about project-based learning and inquiry-based mathematics exploration.
